Stamped and Finch calls the lovely city of Athens, GA home. Each piece is delicately stamped, assembled, and packaged by me. A short coffee date with me (chai, please!) and you will soon realize my obsessions with my Jesus, my high school sweetheart of a husband, our miracle kiddos MaryHampton and Ozzie, sunshine, and all things lovely.
I started Stamped & Finch out of my passion for people’s stories...
...the things in their life they have said yes to, their past memories and their future dreams. I want to create something that is so personalized it can serve as a Kodak moment reminder, a personal encouragement, and as a starter for deep, meaningful connection and conversation.
Why Stamped and Finch?
Stamped: I think you've got that one under wraps. Finch: the finch bird symbolizes joy, simplicity, and variety, all characteristics I want to create in my products. Finches are also known for their "boogie" like flight patterns that don't just take them from point A to point B, but they dance along the journey. I want to take life day by day enjoying the journey above the destination.
Do I love jewelry?
Yes. Do I love encouraging words, defining seasons, and preserving memories more? Absolutely.
It is a joy to create pieces that help you tell your story.
As of now, no. I only sell online. I have a small studio in my home where every piece is handmade, packaged, and shipped out personally by me. You can purchase Stamped and Finch online in my shop or in a retail shop that sells S+F.
YES! Each piece is hand stamped letter by letter making each piece entirely customizable.
Most orders ship within a week or two. Stamped and Finch is a one-woman business, but I do try my absolute best to complete all orders as quickly as possible. Holidays may increase production time and it will be updated in my shop.
Gold-filled is a pressure bonded layer of gold over a base metal. It has 100 times more gold than plated jewelry. It is durable, won't chip or flake, is tarnish resistant, and is a great alternative to solid gold jewelry. It looks beautiful, and has a finish that will last for a lifetime if cared for properly. Gold-filled is also a great option for sensitive skin.
Everyone’s neck is a little different, so it is absolutely based on your preference. The best way to decide is to find a string and wrap it around your neck to the length you would like and measure from here. If you would like to layer two necklaces, I typically recommend 16 inches for the shorter layer and 18 inches for the longer layer.
I also have necklace extenders available for purchase if you would like to add a couple of inches to your necklace or have the ability to alternate layers.
The best way to do this is head into your local jewelry store and ask them to size you. This is a complimentary service.
There are 3 sizes of leather wrap bracelets: small fitting up to 6 inch wrists, medium fitting up to 7 in wrists, and large fitting up to 8 inch wrists. The bracelets can be easily adjusted to best fit your wrist by adjusting the location of the knot for the closure.
Absolutely, this happens all the time! Every order is always packaged beautifully in a box. You can include a note in your order message, and I will exclude the invoice and include a hand-written gift note, if you'd like!
Since I work from home, I don't allow pickups to respect the privacy and safety of my family. But, you're in luck! Athens to Athens shipping typically only takes a day or two. S&F typically makes an appearance at a few local pop-up events each year. I will post on Instagram if/when you can order and pickup at an event!
